Welcome to our Brass and Woodwind Instrument Repair Store!

Fix This! Musical Instrument Repair, Inc. is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago at 746 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine, IL 60074. We offer our customers the finest quality woodwind and brass repairs at competitive prices. We also offer quality instrument sales and rentals to the western and northwestern suburbs of Chicago through our retail subsidiary, Horn Stash.

Whether you are a beginner or professional, we are your complete source for all of your instrument repair needs. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the finest care and service, whether it is with a repair, a purchase, a sale, or an appraisal. We always do our best to be available for a free repair estimate on an instrument you already own or even one that you may be considering purchasing.

Please contact us with any questions you may have, or to request our services on a particular instrument. We can be reached at (847) 359-4444. While we try to answer questions as best we can over the phone, it’s best if you bring your instrument into the store so we can give you a thorough estimate, quote, or value.  You can request an appointment if you need your repair done in a short amount of time.  Generally our repair times are a week or less, but we can make an appointment for same day or next day service.

We always try our best to give an honest assessment, even if that means a repair may not be the most cost effective solution. At Fix This! we won’t try to sell you repairs you don’t need – that’s not what we’re here for. But we will give you expert service, maintenance advice, and honest opinions from professional musicians on staff.

We look forward to working with you!
